Field Sales: what to expect

A high-activity, full-cycle sales role – with the support to make it count

What your day-to-day will look like

The structure is 50% base salary, 50% performance-based variable. The variable is tied to a quota designed around genuine market penetration.

During the first 12 months, targets are split between outbound activity and revenue. This creates space to master the product, build pipeline and perform outside of chasing a revenue target.

In 2025, 80% of EMEA and LATAM Field Sales reps with more than 12 months in the role achieved 85%+ of their OTE, which shows that success is driven by commitment and skill development.

Yes, it’s often an advantage. You already understand how M&A, due diligence, and deal structuring works from the inside. You’ll gain the product knowledge and sales methodology fairly quickly as part of structured training during the onboarding.

The German M&A market runs thousands of transactions, fundraising processes, and due diligence activities every year.

So far, our Inside Sales team has been covering inbound leads only. Our Field Sales team is relatively new, so the addressable market in key deal hubs – Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin – is significant.

Business Development Associate / Account Executive is a high-activity role with 30–40 new prospect contacts per month, managing a pipeline of 50+ opportunities. The role includes regular in-person client meetings, participation in social activities, and industry events.

You have experienced leadership. RevOps and Sales Enablement support, DACH Marketing campaigns behind you, and a structured onboarding ramp so you’re not building alone from day one.

The Business Development Associate (BDA) role has Junior and Middle seniority levels. You will also have an opportunity to grow from BDA to Account Executive/Business Development Manager and Senior Account ExecutiveSenior BDM).
