The role

Ideals has been growing in Australia and New Zealand since 2019. Over 1,000 active clients across APAC, 30%+ YoY revenue growth, and a product consistently ranked as a Market Leader on G2.

We’re hiring an experienced inbound Account Executive to own the ANZ region commercially. You’ll be the person converting high-intent inbound opportunities into long-term clients, working a full sales cycle with strong enablement, a recognized brand, and a product that solves a genuine problem for M&A and legal teams across the region.

What you will do

  • Manage incoming requests (calls, emails, demos, live meetings) from potential customers in the assigned territory

  • Help customers solve their complex problems using Ideals’ modern internal tools and techniques

  • Deliver a high Lead-to-Deal conversion rate using sales techniques and keep the sales process compliant

  • Present the product to the customers (including online and offline demonstrations)

  • Feed market intelligence back into the team to improve the sales process and deliver the best on-the-market buying experience

  • Nurture and reactivate previously unqualified and closed-lost opportunities to convert them into customers

What you bring

  • 2+ years in a full sales cycle closing role within a SaaS tech environment

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, demonstrating confidence, clarity, and adaptability in style

  • Self-motivation, ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm

  • A genuine passion for understanding and solving customer problems, acting as an expert consultant

  • Proficiency in quickly processing and assimilating new information (product/business and customer needs)

Nice to have

  • Experience with outbound sales strategies

  • Experience in selling financial products or services

  • Experience in a remote-first selling environment

  • A track record of suggesting and implementing improvements in sales techniques or negotiation strategies at a team level
