The Inside Sales team plays an important role in the company’s lasting success in delivering an exceptional buying experience to our clients. In the last two years, the team grew two times. Currently, we are looking for a seasoned professional to lead the team of rock-star salespeople and to ensure that iDeals is the first-choice VDR provider for an even bigger number of clients.

This role reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and assumes a full end-to-end responsibility for the global inside sales process, including hiring and onboarding salespeople, evaluating the performance of the team member, ensuring positive team spirit, developing a high conversion sales process, managing inside sales metrics, and being a role model for the inside sales team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Lead a team of 20+ sales professionals directly and through the Sales Managers
  • Recruit experienced leaders for each functional role
  • Attract high potential individual contributors to the team
  • Own a rapid onboarding process for new team members
  • Foster collaboration within the team and across the customer lifecycle
  • Encourage continuous learning & development within the team
  • Mentoring and coaching your team to meet personal and business goals
  • Drive the Performance Appraisal Process for the team
  • Align with Marketing around marketing activities to attract new clients
  • Align with Product around driving product roadmap
  • Align with Customer Success around cross-sell and up-sell and focus on selling with a retention focus
  • Align with Finance around measurement and forecasting
  • Align with Executive Team around key metrics and objectives
  • Lead by example in setting team vision, interacting with customers, managing deals, participating in company leadership forums, and attending industry events that demonstrate our values
  • Define operational metrics for the team
  • Establish a system for tracking metrics
  • Create cadence for review within the team
  • Expose a subset of metrics to the executive team, company, and board
  • Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of business
  • Grow conversion and sales quality process
  • Grow revenue by implementing the best sales and negotiation practices
  • Identify opportunities for continuous sales process improvement
  • Learn from best practices in the industry
  • Keeping up to date on markets, segments, customers, emerging markets, market shifts, new products, competition status, external forces, etc and feed insights into planning
  • Representing the company at industry events
  • WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

  • 7-year hands-on experience as a salesperson (inbound/outbound/business development)
  • At least 3 years of managerial experience covering the full sales cycle 
  • Solid experience in system transactional sales, sales methodology and techniques, sales and negotiation practices
  • Experience selling in more than one geographic area
  • Experience hiring, motivating, coaching and developing teams
  • Profound leadership skills with a passion for talent growth and building high-performing collaborative teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Driven to deliver the best customer experience
