The Role

As our company experiences rapid expansion through the integration of new business units and the establishment of offices globally, our team has grown fourfold over the past four years to 450 professionals across 30+ countries. With ambitious team and revenue growth targets ahead, we are seeking a Tax Lead to join our Tax team remotely in Ukraine.

Your expertise in tax strategy and compliance will optimize our tax processes, drive efficiencies, and implement innovative solutions to support our global scaling. In this role, you will manage and mentor two Tax Analysts, oversee daily operations, and lead process improvements and automation initiatives. Collaborating with Accounting, Finance, Legal, and People Operations teams, you will report directly to the Head of Tax & Treasury and shape our tax strategy ensuring compliance across all jurisdictions.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct comprehensive research on legislation in other jurisdictions and provide expert opinions on non-standard tax issues
  • Supervise and mentor a team of two Tax Analysts, overseeing tax advisory services for all business units
  • Develop intra-group and non-standard agreements for M&A transactions, group restructuring, and asset transfers
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation to streamline tax workflows and enhance efficiency
  • Address tax issues from internal stakeholders, including the financial department, accounting, and legal teams, and handle inquiries from internal and external customers
  • Collaborate with departments (50% – Legal, Accounting, FP&A, Billing, Sales Ops, People Ops) to integrate tax considerations into business decisions and support tax aspects of group audits
  • Review tax clauses of agreements with clients and service providers 
  • Develop defensive strategies for tax audits, proactively managing and minimizing the Group’s tax risks as highlighted in the risk matrix
  • What We Look For

  • At least Upper-Intermediate English proficiency in both oral and written communication
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role within international tech or non-tech multinational companies
  • Proven ability to manage teams effectively, including task delegation, supervision, and fostering team development
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Spreadsheets
  • Solid understanding of key IFRS standards
  • Demonstrated ability to write policies and effectively understand company business processes
