M&A Community hosts events, conferences, and workshops that bring collectively the brightest for in-depth discussions and proven solutions to help enterprises conduct and navigate cross-border investment strategies, M&A deals, tax regimes, legal risks, and potential cultural conflicts. 

The Role

To fuel our rapid business and product growth, we are looking for a Head of Content (Director) who will have complete ownership over creating, scaling, and managing the highest quality content within our Marketing team. In this role, you will craft and manage a comprehensive editorial calendar, leveraging topics, trends, data, and partnerships to drive meaningful engagement with prospects and clients.

Your impact will be instrumental in establishing the iDeals brand as a thought leader and enhancing engagement metrics across marketing, sales, and user experiences. This role reports directly to our VP of Marketing and is ideally suited for a creative leader with a revenue-oriented mindset who thrives in a dynamic, scale-up environment. 

We are specifically looking for someone based in the UK.

What You Will Do

  • Create, manage, execute and improve the entire Sales & Marketing content calendar (blog articles, whitepapers, webinars, video, podcasts, social media) across thought leadership, educational, informational and transactional content
  • Evaluate and enhance content distribution scale and growth via paid media, SEO, PR, partnerships, customer advocacy, referrals, and publisher outreach
  • Assess and recommend written, graphical, and new media formats, ensuring content diversity and engagement
  • Collaborate with channel managers (paid media, SEO, field sales, inside sales) to strategically place content pieces maximizing engagement within each channel
  • Align Content Marketing specific OKRs, KPIs and other metrics with Performance Marketing, Field Marketing, Field Sales and Inside Sales to drive growth and revenue
  • Work closely with SEO content managers to produce a single content calendar (with multiple, specific objectives) improving the quality of content across all paid and organic channels
  • Collaborate with the Marketing design team to deliver high-quality designed content, ensuring internal and external resources meet the production demands
  • Recommend, manage and optimize all production resources, including in-house team, external agencies, partners, and freelancers
  • Conduct research (e.g. surveys, interviews) to align content topics with audience needs and market interests 
  • Partner with analytics teams to enhance content measurement and reporting, and make data-driven decisions to iterate content marketing plans (i.e. observation, insight, action)
  • What We Look For

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in content creation/brand/distribution in B2B marketing, experience in Financial Media and SaaS will be a differential factor 
  • 4+ years of experience in hiring and people management, including managing creative writers or writing teams
  • Proven success in product storytelling and content strategy
  • Demonstrated creativity and the ability to develop original content that increases brand authority and engagement
  • Versatility with a range of experience in various forms of copywriting, including advertising, journalism, and conversion-focused content
  • Proficiency with popular content management tools and platforms
  • Ability to juggle different projects under tight deadlines without oversight
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field
  • Fluency in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
