In our Shanghai office, we are looking for a Business Development Manager!
As a member of the Asia Business Development team, based in Shanghai, you will be responsible for pro-active prospecting, qualifying, and closing new sales opportunities, including acquiring new customers and up-selling existing accounts in coordination with the Account Management team. Your territory of responsibility will include Asia region countries. This is a front-line quota-carrying role assuming intensive sales activities and travel across the region.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:Delivered sales targets primarily through new customers acquisition and proactive development of pipeline opportunities at strategic accounts governed by the Account Management teamStructure, negotiate and close deals, a significant emphasis on closing strategic and high revenue dealsExecute the sales strategy for their region and provide feedback from the ground to the managementProactively build and manage the pipeline of deals and consistently offer insights and share iDeals thought leadership with customersDeliver product presentations on one to one and one to many basesBuild relationships with critical c-level stakeholders and influencers in the industry on the assigned territory
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:3+ years of experience in direct sales or business development in B2BExperience in selling product/services to C-level executives (an advantage but not a must), decision-makers and end-usersExperience in managing pipeline (50+ deals simultaneously) and high-velocity sales (25+ won deals a year)A willingness to perform and experience high-velocity sales (engaging with 30-40 new customers every month, managing pipeline with 50+ opportunities, 100+ proactive sales activities a month on average)Readiness to make cold calls and previous experience in itUniversity degreeNative ChineseAt least upper-intermediate English
