Automation QA Technical Lead

Now we are looking for Automation QA Technical Lead for the iDeals VDR product, to lead a team of about 8 QA Engineers; to drive the changes and improvements in our QA processes and assist those manual QA Engineers who are in the process of learning to become a part of Automation team.

You will be working in close collaboration with another Automation Tech Lead to maximize the product’s quality.


  • Development of the Automation QA function
  • Active participation in improving processes and approaches of testing
  • Supporting and improving existing automation frameworks (Web, Api with Java)
  • Active assistance and participation in learning and transition of our manual QA Engineers to Automation
  • Share expertise with the QA team and colleagues in the domain area. Manage the QA team’s expertise development
  • Take part as a QA Engineer on existing features and participate in creating new ones
  • Product quality assurance. Testing changes and new functionality
  • Release support

  • 5+ years of experience in automation testing web/api applications
  • Experience performing as a Team/Tech Lead for an automation QA team
  • Expertise in creating a systematic approach to testing and implementing best practices in the QA process. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience in the professional development of the QA team (support technical expertise, knowledge sharing, PDP creation, participation in the hiring/onboarding  process)
  • Participation in end-to-end software development lifecycle
  • Experience in analyzing project documentation to ensure a thorough understanding of business and technical requirements
  • Experience in building a test framework
  • Designing relevant Test Cases/Checklists which will effectively execute the software under test, applicable to both new and existing product functionality
  • Experience with TFS/Jira, Confluence, TestRail, or similar test management tools
  • Upper-Intermediate English level
